Reddit appears to be recovering after suffering an outage that knocked the platform offline.
Reddit went down due to an unknown issue earlier today, with the company flagging an investigation at 12.16pm PT on March 27, 2025.
In a status post, the online platform said reddit.com had suffered “degraded performance.”
IGN’s test results varied between pages that display a “we have encountered an error. Please try again later” message, and “this page isn’t working.” However, pages now appear to be loading.
As of 12.48 PT, Reddit had deployed a fix and was monitoring the results.
